Louise Anderson is a London based visual artist working mainly with printmaking, but includes photography, video, sculpture, archival and found materials in the creation of installations.
Predominately concerned with identity and what this means in relation to who you are and how events in life can influence judgements that are made and incidents that take place.
An interest in the dialogue between philosophy, psychoanalysis and feminism and how these are entwined within the context of the persona. Employing these as points of reference using them as a visual and conceptual language that suggests a pathway to a new identity and understanding of the self.
