A day of inspiration – remembering 100 years on

I attended the March in preparation for the collaborative  installation Grace Before Meat One Day – One Event at The Stanley Picker Gallery – Lobby Exhibition

Wednesday 7th March 2018 – 11.00-7.00

An acknowledge and remembrance for all those that were imprisoned Roll of Honour for Suffrage 1905-1914

The march has four core goals:

  • equal rights for all genders
  • the right to speak out and be heard
  • the right to work free from harassment and abuse
  • the rights of girls all over the world to be able to “live, learn and earn with safety, dignity and respect
Thousands of people joined a march in central London calling for gender equality and to celebrate the 100th anniversary of women getting the vote.

The event, organised by the charity Care, was the sixth annual #March4Women, which is held each year on or near International Women’s Day on 8 March.
